Our Team
The site is run by three people: an editor-in-chief responsible for the review methodology, a staff writer who covers bonuses and promo codes, and a fact-checker who verifies every number before publication.
Each role has a dedicated email alias: editor@legenddrop.org, writer@legenddrop.org, and fact-check@legenddrop.org. Reader-facing correspondence always goes through editor@; the other aliases are internal to the editorial workflow.
Every claim about licensing, bonus amounts or payment timing is cross-referenced with the operator's own terms, the MGA licence register and, where relevant, independent databases such as Casino Guru.
A dedicated fact-check tracker records the source of every quantitative claim (licence number, wagering requirement, deposit minimum, support response time). The tracker is reviewed quarterly and discrepancies are corrected within one working day.
Each page passes through three stages: draft (one author), fact check (second editor) and final read-through (editor-in-chief). The byline reflects the writer; the date reflects the latest review.
Writers use a shared internal style guide that answers mundane questions (euro symbol placement, how to format a wagering requirement, when to use the operator's trade name vs its legal name). The guide is updated when the team votes on a new convention.
Our editors have a combined 20 years of experience in iGaming journalism and regulated-markets analysis. One member of the team is a former compliance officer at a licensed European operator.
Members of the team have presented at the Malta iGaming Expo and the SBC Summit in Lisbon. Our editor-in-chief contributes a quarterly column to iGaming Business on bonus-term transparency.
We welcome freelance pitches from writers who understand regulated gambling. Send a short note and two samples to editor@legenddrop.org.
We hire selectively but we do keep a pool of trusted freelancers for peak months around new regulatory deadlines. Pitches should include a one-line angle, two writing samples and a brief note on familiarity with Maltese licensing.
Direct line to the editor-in-chief: editor@legenddrop.org. Please mark the subject line with the page URL and the reason for contact.
If a correction is needed and the reader has not received a reply within 48 hours, the escalation address is managing@legenddrop.org. Please reserve this address for genuine escalations only.
