Play Responsibly
| Helpline list | In Malta the dedicated support line is operated by the Responsible Gaming Foundation, free of charge, 24/7. Pan-European support is available through GamCare and BeGambleAware. The Responsible Gaming Foundation in Malta is reachable at 1771 (local, free). Beyond Malta, GamCare operates a UK-wide helpline at 0808-8020-133, and the European Association for the Study of Gambling (easg.org) lists country-specific helplines across the continent. |
| Self exclusion | Legenddrop supports permanent self-exclusion through the MGA's unified system. A player can set the block from the account settings or by email to the operator's support. Permanent self-exclusion is irreversible: once set, the account cannot be re-opened under any circumstances. A time-limited block (24 hours, 7 days, 30 days) is also available and automatically reinstates playing rights at the end of the period. |
| Underage protection | Devices shared with children should run parental-control software such as Net Nanny or Qustodio. The operator cross-checks every registration against the national register of adults. If a minor has accessed the casino from your device, you can request immediate account closure, a full refund of any deposits made during the period, and an audit of session timestamps. The operator is obliged to cooperate under Maltese law. |
| Signs of problem | Chasing losses, playing with money set aside for essentials, hiding sessions from relatives, and losing sleep over bets are early warning signs. If any of them is familiar, pause and speak to a helpline. A short self-check questionnaire developed by GamCare is available at begambleaware.org. Answering yes to three or more questions is a signal to pause gambling for at least a month and consider speaking to a counsellor. |
| Limits and tools | The operator offers deposit limits (daily, weekly, monthly), session timers, reality checks every 30 minutes, and single-session loss caps. All limits can be lowered immediately; raising a limit takes 24 hours. On top of personal limits the operator runs automatic reality checks that interrupt a session after 30 or 60 minutes of continuous play with a cash-flow summary. These checks cannot be switched off below 60 minutes. |
| Where to get help | If gambling has stopped being fun, stop and reach for support. The MGA keeps an updated list of counsellors at responsiblegaming.mga.org.mt; GamCare provides free chat at gamcare.org.uk. In-person counselling in Malta is available free of charge through the Responsible Gaming Foundation. Online cognitive-behavioural therapy for gambling-related harm is offered by Gordon Moody at gordonmoody.org.uk. |
